5. What do I need to bring if there is finance outstanding on my vehicle?

We Sell Your Car can still sell your vehicle even if it’s on finance. The settlement amount will be deducted from the amount paid to you, for your vehicle. Please bring along the Finance Agreement reference number and the current settlement figure.

6. If I need to drive the vehicle on a daily basis can you still sell it?

No. The vehicle would need to be on the premises in order for us to sell it.

7. Can I advertise my car when We Sell Your Car is selling it?

No. There would be a conflict of interest as your car is marketed 24/7 on all leading platforms to a nationwide customer base.

8. If I can't drop my car to one of your locations, is there a collection service?

We offer a nationwide collection service. All vehicles onsite are insured under our policy. Charges for collection can be offset against the sale price. No upfront cost to you..

9. Does my car have to have a valid NCT/DOE?

Yes. Any vehicle that we sell must have a valid NCT/DOE. This helps protect both parties involved and also will help in any potential sale of the vehicle.

10. Where is my car viewed?

All viewings are carried out at Autopoint Motor Group’s site for insurance reasons, including test drives etc. Test drives are by appointment only.

11. When do I get paid once my car is sold?

Same day bank transfer when funds from the sale are cleared in our account.

12. What is your method of payment?

We pay by cheque or electronic bank transfer. There is no charge for this service. Please make sure to bring your bank details to your appointment if you require a bank transfer

13. Do I pay anything upfront other than the valeting fee?

No. This is the hassle-free way to sell your car with no upfront costs.

14. How long does it take to sell my car?

Typically We Sell Your Car vehicles sell within a few weeks but often we turnaround within a week, subject to market conditions.

15. Is there any comeback to me if the new customer has any issues with the vehicle after purchasing it?

No. Autopoint Motor Group puts a warranty on every vehicle sold that protects you from any issues that may arise after the sale..

16. Where will my car be advertised?

Your car is marketed 24/7 on all leading platforms to a nationwide customer base.

17. What if my car needs mechanical/electrical work etc.?

We will carry out an appraisal of any work necessary with your prior permission and any costs associated can be offset from the balance due to you. There will be no upfront payment required.

18. Do you sell commercial vehicles?

19. Do you sell classic and vintage or sports vehicles?

20. Does We Sell Your Car take in all makes and models?

No. We Sell Your Car is selective and does not accept all makes and models.

21. What if I change my mind and do not want to sell?

That’s OK. We will take it off the market and you can collect your car. If any work has been carried out, payment must be made prior to collection. NO SALE NO FEE.

23. Can I sell a car on behalf of a family realtive or a friend?

Yes. If you are selling on behalf of a relative or friend, we require a letter of authorisation from the owner. The money will be transferred to the owner's bank account, matching the name on the registration certificate.

24. What happens if I drop the car in your forecourt but then need to take it away?

There's no issue. You can take your vehicle whenever you may need it and drop it back afterwards.

25. Will you offer to buy my car if it doesn't sell within a certain time frame??

No. We have sold 95% of We Sell Your Car vehicles in the last 12 months.

26. When are you open?
